Chris Rowden, REALTOR®
The one common element with all Real Estate agents is that everyone comes from very diverse backgrounds – everyone has a backstory. Prior to becoming a licensed real estate agent in Florida, I graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 and became a registered landscape architect in the state of Georgia and was featured on the popular HGTV show, “Ground Breakers” for more than dozen episodes over several years. After moving our family to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, I was the Senior Landscape Architect for the Nevada Dept. of Transportation designing many projects in Las Vegas and Reno which millions of Nevada residents and tourists still experience to this day.
However, government projects didn’t quite satisfy my desire for change so I became a Nevada State Trooper patrolling the roads of Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Carson City in order to serve my community and fulfill a lifelong dream. Ultimately in 2012, my wife and I decided to move our family back to Florida to be closer to both of our families and let our kids grow up with sand in their shoes rather than snow. Still an active landscape architect in Sarasota, my skills have come in handy when my customers find the perfect home, but perhaps not the perfect yard or outdoor entertaining area. That’s where I can put my landscape architect skills to work for you again.
Having found a woman far better than I deserved, my wife, Tammy, and I have been married since 1995 and have 4 wonderful children, that thankfully look nothing like me. Extensive DNA testing proved I was the father, and the doctor simply said, “they just got lucky!
Just as when I was a State Trooper in the wild western roads of Nevada, I am an advocate for the public. And as a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty Select, I am looking out for all of my customers to ensure that they get the best deals when buying and selling their homes. You can feel “safe” in my care with all of your Real Estate needs.
